LbL Nanoparticles for Glioblastoma
The layer-by-layer nanoparticle system is highly customizable in terms of encapsulated drugs, incorporation of RNAs, and surface functionalization with targeting ligands. Its modular nature enables construction and screening through large libraries of drug and carrier combinations. My research leverages this approach to work toward an optimized nanoparticle treatment for glioblastoma brain tumors, with focuses on crossing the blood brain barrier and circumventing intracellular pathways of chemotherapy resistance.
