Layer-by-layer nucleic acid delivery systems targeting diabetic ulcers
Nucleic acids targeting RNAs whose levels are dysregulated in diabetic ulcers are promising therapeutics, but their efficacy for poorly healing wounds remains limited due to poor delivery systems. My work leverages layer-by-layer technology to design nucleic acid delivery systems that increase bioavailability and allow sustained therapy release to improve RNA-targeted nucleic acid treatment outcomes.
